Hyperbaric chambers for home use
Owning a home hyperbaric chamber means sessions on your schedule, in your own space, without booking or travelling to a clinic. Our home range covers three portable soft chambers and one premium hard shell, so you can match the chamber to your room, your budget and how you like to spend a session.
Which home chamber suits you?
- A spare room or apartment: the Lay 1.5 ($17,000 delivered) is a full-length lying chamber at 1.5 ATA that runs from a standard power point.
- If you'd rather sit up: the Sit 1.5 ($18,000 delivered) is a seated or reclined chamber at 1.5 ATA.
- Higher pressure at home: the Pro 2.0 ($29,000 delivered) is our reinforced soft chamber, adjustable up to 2.0 ATA.
- A permanent, premium setup: the Hard Shell 2.0 (on enquiry) is a composite hard-shell chamber with an 80 × 60 cm window, touch screens inside and out, and air conditioning.
HBOT at home: what to plan
Before you order, measure the room and the full delivery route, check there's a power point close by, and pick a spot that stays reasonably cool, away from west-facing windows, heaters and anything flammable. Soft chambers need about the footprint of a single bed plus room for the unit. The Hard Shell 2.0 is about 90 cm across and 230 cm long and needs more clearance. Our home setup guide has a full checklist.
Running costs at home
Running a soft chamber at home costs cents, not dollars. A 60 to 75 minute session on the Lay 1.5 or Sit 1.5 uses roughly 1 kWh of electricity, about 30 cents at a typical Australian tariff, and the Pro 2.0 about 40 cents. If you're weighing up clinic sessions against owning, our sessions vs owning guide has the break-even maths.
The best hyperbaric chamber for home use
For most homes, a soft lying chamber at 1.5 ATA is the simplest place to start. Read our guide to the best hyperbaric chamber for home use, browse our portable hyperbaric chambers, or compare every model on our hyperbaric chambers for sale page.
